Celebrate Stress-Awareness Month With Ridgway Hemp!

We can all agree that this April has been more stressful than ever before. It can be difficult to relax during this time of uncertainty and fear. While every week brings new challenges, practicing proper stress management is extremely important to your mental health and well-being. Here are some ways you can celebrate Stress-Awareness Month!

At-Home Spa Week

Did you know April 16 – 22 is National Spa Week? Thankfully, his week is able to be celebrated in the comfort of your own home. Be creative and set up your own private spa. Dim the lights, light some candles and turn on some relaxing music. Don’t forget to make Ridgway Hemp a spa day essential! Our Body Love Balm soothes, moisturizes and helps your body to cope with those persistent annoyances (and we’re not talking about your partner)!

Laugh More

You know what they say… laughter is contagious! According to the Mayo Clinic, laughter is a great stress reliever and alleviates tension in the body while boosting our overall mood. So watch your favorite tv comedy, FaceTime your best friend, and do things that make you happy! We’re all in this together, and we should stay as happy as we possibly can.

Essential Oils

Essential oils have been shown to have physical and emotional benefits! Whenever you feel yourself getting stressed, rubbing essential oils on your skin, your pillow, or even diffusing them can help calm you down. At Ridgway Hemp, we are committed to using USDA Certified Organic Essential Oils. We use ten different essential oils to keep you feeling happy, calm, and ready to take on the day! Create A Journal

During this time, journaling can help you keep your thoughts organized and relieve stress. Take a moment each day to think about what you’re thankful for. Write down what happened today and how it made you feel. Write about how you want to make tomorrow even better. It doesn’t matter how long or short the journal entry is – getting your thoughts and feelings on paper can feel extremely relieving.
